Kasuri Rajini Selvanayagam was a Sri Lankan traditional dancer.She was popularly dubbed as the Queen of Dance.She was born in 1951/1952 in Balangoda, Sabaragamuwa Province. She founded her own dance academy "Chamara Kala Nikethanaya" in 1975.She ran the Chamara Kala Nikethanaya which was solely intended at building a value-based society enhancing culture, traditions, customs through the art of dancing. She was well known as a professional teacher of dancing during her illustrious career and she gave so much emphasis on the propagation and sustenance of unique forms of Sri Lankan dance art.She was conferred with prestigious Kalasuri during the 2005 Sri Lankan national honours. She was also conferred with Kala Keerthi and Vishwa Kala Keerthi titles during her career. She died on 20 October 2023 at the age of 71.❤️‍🩹🥺🙏

  Since , I was a little girl dance has always been an important part of my life. When I was five, my mom enrolled me in dancing classes after my sister, never realizing that dancing would ever lead to anything serious. For the first year, dancing was a side hobby to help keep me busy after school. Even though dancing was really fun to me, it did not become serious until my dance teacher looked me in my eyes and said "Malsha , you have a big and lovable heart and I want you to dance with that heart of yours because I know that you have what it takes to become a great dancer." That moment I knew that dance was going to always be a passion of mine. Over the years dance has helped me to grow in other ways. From it I have learned that hard work really does pay off.     1.First of all take 500 grams of potatoes and boil them in a way that easily to chop. 2. After that, 500g of boiled potatoes should be crushed well and salt powder according to taste and a little turmeric powder should be added to it and mixed well. 3. After that an onion cut in to small pieces , crushed garlic with curry powder should be put in a pan and should be tempered well. 4. Next,make the potatoes mixture in that way and then take about 650g of bread flour and make the flour batter. 5. Add a pinch of salt to the prepared bread flour and mix well until it thickens without clumping. 6.   Ingredients Cocoa powder - 4 tbsp Corn starch - 4 tbsp  Salt - 1/2 tsp Sugar - 100 gm  Full fat milk - 500 ml  Heavy cream - 4 tbsp Procedure  Take a bowl mix cocoa powder and corn starch. Add salt. Mix the salt with cocoa mmixture well.  Now add sugar and mix again. Add milk gradually and stir the mixture. Break powder lumps if any. Now take a pan and heat it. Add the cocoa powder milk mixture to the pan. Once the water content from the mixture burns it will become thick. Now add heavy cream to the pan. Fold the mixture gently. Cook for minute or two and turn off the flame. Allow the mixture to settle and cool down. Once it is at room temperature you can garnish and serve.

  I had a really bad night memo last night.My mother said that I woke up screaming .I was ttrembling with fear. In my dream I was strolling along a road near my home when a car stopped beside me.While I was giving him directions to the person in the passenger seat got out of the car. He was a huge,ugly man.He suddenly grabbed me.I tired very hard to get free,but he was much stronger than me.He threw me into the back of the car and told the driver to drive off. My attacker got into the front of the car beside the driver.I thought that I might be able to jump out,but the car doors were locked.I could not escape. Suddenly,we came to a halt.We were in the mimiddle of a field.The ugly man dragged me from the back seat of the car and tied my hands behind my back.As he did so he told that he was going to impression me.I would only be set free,he said when my parents had paid a huge ransom.          END.
